Brebeuf Jesuit – The Braves picked up a big conference win last evening at Roncalli, 7-2.
John Whiting was masterful on the bump for the Braves keeping the Rebel’s quality lineup at bay. John spread five hits over five complete innings striking out eight. Will Richman closed out the game with two scoreless innings strking out three.
The offense for the Braves came to play as well. Brebeuf had nine hits on the evening including two hit night’s by Andrew Pickett, Gabe Wright, Sean Swenson, and Micah White. Wright had two RBI’s and Cam Farren had a hit and two RBI’s as well.
The Braves move to 3-3 in conference play and will be Heritage Christian Tuesday evening at 6pm.
Roncalli – The varsity baseball team lost to Brebeuf on Monday night 7-2. Nick Schnell was 2-2 with a double and a home run. The Rebels just couldn’t get the bats going, recording just 4 hits. Harrison Koppenhofer and Mark Cobb both had a hit.
