Brebeuf Jesuit – Brebeuf Jesuit defeated Bishop Chatard 5-1 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with Brebeuf batting in the bottom of the fifth when Bennett Rossetter induced Andrew Pickett to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs scored. Andrew Dutkanych earned the win for the Braves. He allowed six hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking one. Aidan Hartung and Sam Reed entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Hartung recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Brebeuf. Rossetter took the loss for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard. He went five innings, allowing five runs on three hits and striking out five.
Bishop Chatard – Bennett Rossetter pitched well for the Trojans. The defense let the team down and gave up 3 un-earned runs.
