2017-18 Comes to a Close
It has been a great year in the Circle City Conference. In the fall, Brebeuf sent teams to the IHSAA State Finals in football, volleyball, and girls cross country. Guerin Catholic also competed for the girls soccer state title. The conference sent athletes to the boys cross country and girls golf state finals as well. Bishop Chatard brought home a Regional title in girls soccer and a Sectional crown in football. Roncalli also won a boys tennis Sectional.
In the winter, Brebeuf once again sent participants to both the girls and boys swimming State Finals. Roncalli sent four wrestlers to the state finals with Sam Hansen bringing home a second place finish. Heritage Christian won its 14th consecutive girls basketball City Championship.
Spring saw Heritage Christian and Roncalli win City and County baseball titles, respectively. Roncalli’s softball team also brought home the Marion County tournament trophy. The Roncalli boys volleyball team brought home the conference’s first state championship. Each school sent representatives to the track and field State Championships. Semira Killabrew and Beth Barnes brought home individual titles, as did the Brebeuf girls 4 X 100 team. Roncalli won a baseball sectional. Roncalli and Bishop Chatard both had individual tennis players advance to the Regional. Several boys golf teams are still competing.

Circle City Conference
The Circle City Conference brings together like-minded schools from the Greater Indianapolis metro area to provide a framework for excellence in interscholastic athletic competition. Within a context of appreciation and support for the unique characteristics of member schools, the Conference enhances student opportunities and achievement in all areas of each school’s programs.

Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles

With a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Bishop Chatard, Guerin Catholic officially repeated as the Girls Tennis Champions of the Circle City Conference.
