Brebeuf Jesuit Girls Varsity Soccer beats Guerin Catholic 3-0

The Brebeuf girls soccer team raised its season record to 2-0-1 Saturday night with a 3-0 victory over Circle City Conference foe and No. 15 ranked Guerin Catholic at St. Vincent Health Field on the Brebeuf campus. The Braves ranked No. 3 in the state, will play their first road contest of the season on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at conference opponent Heritage Christian.
The Braves were led by senior Hailey McLaughlin who had two goals and senior All -American Alia Martin who registered two assists. Senior captain Natalie Kelley had the third goal for Brebeuf while junior Katherine Modrell had an assist.
Playing well defensively in the shutout for the Braves were junior Jordan Smith, senior Lizzy Case, senior Gracie Medcalfe and junior goalie Reni Osuntokun, who had four saves in the victory. The Braves did not allow a shot on goal in the second half.
