Meet Recap

The Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles took the Circle City Conference inaugural boy’s tennis championship with a 4-1 victory over the Roncalli Rebels Saturday. Drew Cobb and AJ Hacker set the tone for the Golden Eagles by finishing their match first at #1 doubles with a 6-0 6-1 victory. Wyatt Metzger and Michael Wade sealed the conference championship with wins at #1 and #2 singles. The remaining two matches ended with a victory for each team and lasted considerably longer. Guerin Catholic face the number one rated Carmel Greyhounds on Tuesday and the number two rated Panthers of North Central on Thursday next week.
