The Brebeuf Braves Varsity Soccer Boys got back on the winning track by defeating the Fishers Tigers by a score of 3-1.
The Braves got on the board from a corner kick that was headed in by Sr Michael Keller assisted by So Mitchell Amstutz. They got a second goal before halftime when Jr Ricardo Di Felice beat his players down the wing and cross it to So Aidan Vare for a tap in.
In the second half the Braves, although not possessing well, continued their chances on goal but were consistently denied by the Fishers goalkeeper. Towards the end of the game, Vare again found the back of the net after a long throw-in from defender Jake Limauro got passed the Fishers defender and left Vare on a long run to beat the Tigers goalie.
The Braves will face Hamilton Southeastern this Saturday at home.
