The Brebeuf girls soccer team garnered its second 2-0 victory of the day on Saturday night with a win over Crown Point at Varsity Field. The Braves earlier in the day beat Ft. Wayne Carroll by the same score. With the win the Braves improved to 7-1-1 on the season. Brebeuf will play rival Cathedral on the road Monday.
The Braves only goal of the first half came from junior forward Kayla Fitts on a corner kick from senior All America midfielder Alia Martin. Martin, who has now has five goals and five assists in ’16, added a goal in the second half for Brebeuf.
Senior keeper Lauren Turner played the first half and had two saves while junior keeper Reni Osuntokun played the second half and recorded one save.
