Conference Foes Face Off for Girls Soccer Regional Title

The Circle City Conference’s strong showing in girls soccer continues as conference foes Brebeuf Jesuit and Guerin Catholic face off for the Regional 5 Championship Saturday at Carmel High School (12:00PM start).
The Brebeuf Jesuit  girls soccer team won its 15th straight game with a 4-0 shutout of North Central in Wednesday night’s IHSAA Regional Semifinal in the rain at Carmel High School. It was also the eighth consecutive shutout victory for the Braves, now 19-1-1 on the season.
Guerin Catholic continued their hot streak by defeating #2 Avon in a 1-0 victory last night. The Golden Eagles had previously defeated #3 ranked Carmel on Saturday. Guerin Catholic (8-7-1) was led by freshmen goalie Sarah Stagge who was playing due to an injury to Chandler Edwards.
