Bishop Chatard Defeats HCS in Girls Soccer Conference Play

The Trojans avenged their 2016 season-ending loss over rival Heritage Christian Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-0. Junior Rebekkaha Guess connected on a penalty kick with just a few minutes left in the first half to give the Trojans the narrow 1-0 halftime advantage. It was all Chatard in the second half of play as Elizabeth Jacobson found Guess and she put the ball in the back of the net to put Chatard up 2-0. The scoring did not end there as Jacobson scored on a header, off a cross sent in by junior Holli Parker. The Trojans defeated the Eagles by a final score of 3-0.
