After a slow start, the Rebels took over the game to begin the Marsh Era with a win over the Cardinals. 
 
OFFENSIVE STATS
Roncalli put up 301 yards of offense and scored 21 unanswered points after Southport opened the game with a Field Goal.  The Rebel “O” also managed to hold onto the ball nearly 12 minutes longer than the Cardinals.

  • Patrick McManama – 22 carries for 91 yards / TD
  • Elijah Mahan – 16 carries for 79 yards / TD
  • Hayden Moran – 3 catches for 31 yards
  • Jacob Luedeman – 2 catches for 42 yards / TD catch
  • Michael Dill – 2 catches for 29 yards
 
DEFENSIVE STATS
The Rebel defense held the dangerous Southport offense to a single Field Goal and limited them to just 1 for 7 on 3rd down.

  • Luke Hanley – 7 tackles / 2 sacks
  • Jack Baker – 6 tackles
  • Pete Baker – caused a fumble

The kicking game turned in a solid performance against a team well known for creating issues for their opponents early in the season.

  • Brandon Berger – returned the Kickoff to start the 2nd half 44 yards to set up a score
