Roncalli BXC Turn In Strong Performance at Pendleton Heights

Competed at one of the long time, traditional meets that is just fun to go to.
VARSITY
21 teams,  team  finished 5th overall.  Well back of sectional foe New Pal but avenged loss to Mt. Vernon last week (Meet was won by Pendleton Heights, closely defeating Hamilton SE)
Varsity race-  Nick Perkins fifth in a season’s best 16:46 (tremendous race for Nick with 4 all state caliber guys in front, including the state’s best runner)
3 Pr’s in the varsity race-  Ryan Flick (31 st overall, 2nd on team) in 18:21,   Jason Croddy in 18:55,  Liam Irwin in 19:14

Finished 3rd in team score.
Soph  Chris Figueroa finished 19th in seasons best 19:16
Junior Tim Adams, in his 2nd high school race, ran a stunning 19:22,  :47 faster than last Saturday.
Soph  Ethan Gosser, after leading the first 3k last Saturday, drops :40 off his pr in 19:23
