Maggie Schaffer Wins City Championship

The Indianapolis City Girls Golf Championship was held at Riverside Golf Course on Friday.  The Circle City Conference was well represented by Bishop Chatard and Heritage Christian.  The Trojans shot a 356 which was good enough for third place.  They were led by City Medalist Maggie Schaffer, who shot a career best 69.  Claire Williams (92), Sarah Mastrian (96), and Jess Tyler (99) rounded out the scoring for Bishop Chatard.  Heritage Christian teamed up for a fourth place score of 376.  Freshman Morgan Hicks and junior Lauren Chapman led the Lady Eagles with an 80 and 86 respectively.  Hicks finished 4^th and Chapman came in 9^th overall.  Taylor Behlmer (94) and Kendall Macri (111) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Eagles.
