McGinley Goes for 30 vs GCHS

Guerin Catholic was down early but got hot towards the end of the first half thanks in large point to Nicole Cunningham’s hot hand from behind the three point arc.  The second half was all Trojans, though.  Moira McGinley, Bridgette Nash, and Mary Borchers took over in a third quarter where Bishop Chatard held Guerin Catholic to two points.  This was followed by an explosive 25 point quarter for the home squad.  McGinley ended the night with 30 points.  Borchers (13), Nash (10), and Emma Kennedy (10) each reached double digits.  The Golden Eagles were led by Nicole Cunningham, whose 15 points all came off of 3-pointers.  Olivia Labus pulled down nine boards.  Bishop Chatard improves to 1-1 in the conference.  Guerin Catholic falls to 0-3.
