Roncalli Improves to 2-0; Chatard Ends at 1-3

The Roncalli Rebels and Bishop Chatard Trojans did battle on Thursday night at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.  Roncalli emerged with the 51-39 victory.  They were led by Kellen Schreiber’s 12 points.  Jack Hegwood also scored 10. Bryson Meek led the Rebels with 7 rebounds and Matthew Looney had 4 assists.
With the victory, the Rebels move into a tie for first with Brebeuf at 2-0.  Both teams will face Heritage Christian (0-2) before meeting in the final game of the regular season.  Bishop Chatard ends the 2017-18 Circle City Conference campaign with a mark of 1-3.  Guerin Catholic (2-2) has also completed conference play.
