Guerin Catholic Earns Split with Brebeuf (Baseball)

Brebeuf Jesuit – The Braves lost at home tonight 9-6 at the hands of Guerin Catholic. This completes conference play with Guerin and moves the Braves to 3-8 overall and 1-2 in Circle City Conference play.
Despite compiling 10 hits on the evening the Braves were unable to get the victory. John Whiting, Shane Bauer, and Cole Elkins all toed the bump tonight for the Braves. Whiting struck out four in his three full innings of work, Bauer struck out six in his three innings, and Elkin’s one in his inning of work.
The Braves had multiple hit night’s from Micah White, Sean Swenson, and Will Richman. Andrew Pickett also hit his first high school home run to drive in two runs in the second inning. Bauer, Swenson, and Richman all doubled on the evening. Drew Hannel and Cole Elkins also both had hits for the Braves.
The Braves are excited to see Cole Elkins (U Indy) and E.J. White (Depauw) sign their letters of intent Thursday afternoon at 4pm in the auditorium. Should you be free, please come join us.
