Braves and Trojans Split Home and Home
Game One
Bishop Chatard – Good Conference win. Mitchell Ayers pitched a complete game with 9 K’s, and the offense was paced by Ryan Burns, TJ Mann, and Jack Eckstein.

Brebeuf Jesuit – The Bishop Chatard Trojans handed the Braves a 3-2 loss tonight despite a quality pitching performance by senior, John Whiting.
Whiting spread six hits over his six full innings of work only allowing only one earned run. John was sharp on the evening striking out six and pitching out of tight spots in the first, forth, and fifth innings.
The offense mustered just three hits on the evening despite making solid contact throughout the contest. Shane Bauer tripled, Cam Farren doubled, and Gabe Wright added a single for the Braves on the evening. Andrew Pickett also had a SAC fly RBI.
The Braves will again play Chatard tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at home at 6pm.
Game Two
Brebeuf Jesuit – The bats came alive tonight for the Braves in a 10-2 victory over Chatard. The win this evening helps the Braves manage a season split with the Trojans in conference play.
Will Richman took the bump tonight and earned the victory for Brebeuf. Will threw five complete allowing just two runs while striking out six. E.J. White came in and slammed the door with two full innings of scoreless relief.
Offensively, the Braves had nine hits on the evening, six of which were extra base hits. Pudge Pickett was 2-4 for on the evening with his second home run of the season and two batted in. Hugh Pebworth also had a big night with two big doubles and four RBI’s. Cam Farren and Drew Hannel both tripled and Noah Seidman had a double. Sean Swenson and Conner Carlock rounded out the hits with singles for the Braves.
The Braves move to 5-10 on the season and 2-3 in Circle City Conference play. The Braves will be back in action Friday evening at Pike H.S. at 5:30pm.
