Nick Frey and Brebeuf Take Title (Golf)

Nick Frey and the Brebeuf Braves shot their way to a Circle City Conference Championship on Tuesday, May 15th.  Facing teams from the other four conference member schools, the Braves put together a set of solid rounds on the Heartland Crossing Golf Links.  They finished six strokes ahead of a solid Guerin Catholic team, 301-307.  Frey paced his team with a championship best round of 72.  Ty Gingerich led the way for the Golden Eagles with a 74.  Roncalli finished in third with a score of 328.  Evan Wray’s 80 was their best round.  Heritage Christian finished five strokes behind the Rebels with a 333.  Drew Pickering was their leader with a 75.  Patrick Guyman had the second best round of the day with a 73, but the Trojans finished in last with a score of 338.
