Braves remain unbeaten (GS)
Brebeuf Jesuit – The Brebeuf Jesuit girls soccer team won its fourth straight game – and fourth consecutive Circle City Conference encounter – Tuesday night with a 5-0 road victory at Heritage Christian. The Braves, who have never lost a league game in their three years in the conference, are 4-2 and will play next on Friday night in the Eagle Invitational in Zionsville at 6:45 p.m. vs. Notre Dame Academy (Ky.)
The Braves who have outscored opponents 19-3 during the winning streak, were led by senior captan Brianna Arthur, junior Paige Edens and junior Sophie Weeter who each had a goal and an assist. Senior Alex Meltzer and junior Elizabeth Brase also added goals while seniors Kate Gunderson, Leigh Anne Roth and Kate Seger each recorded assists.
Sophomore goalie Savannah McNeal recorded her second career shutout in her last three games with two saves.
