Braves rally to best Eagles (B-S)
Brebeuf Jesuit – The Brebeuf Braves won their 3rd game in a row and defeated the Heritage Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1 in a game that keeps them undefeated in the Circle City Conference.
The game was dominated by the Braves from start to finish but were not able to capitalize in the first half but instead allowed the Eagles to score their only goal of the game. The second half the Braves continued their dominant play and got their first goal when Sr Drew Puthran put the ball away from inside the goalie box. The winning goal came off a throw-in from Alec Bevelheimer that Sr Captain Mitchell Amstutz headed past the Eagles goalkeeper.
Brebeuf will face Roncalli on Thursday for a clash of Conference leaders that will decide the championship.
