Brebeuf secures first Boys Tennis title

Brebeuf Jesuit – The Braves had to restart a match they had started earlier in the season against Guerin Catholic due to rain but were determined to not let that affect their approach to a match that would determine who would win the CCA Conference. They came out and played an amazing match winning 4-1 to secure their first championship in the conferences 3rd year. Early wins at both doubles spots started the scoring for Brebeuf. Chase Hutchinson and Conner Carlock won at 1 Doubles 6-2, 6-1 and Matthew McKay and Danny Batler won at 2 doubles 6-0, 6-4. David Hopper sealed the victory for the Braves at 1singles winning 7-6, 6-2. Ethan Maluccio played a great match and came up short losing 6-3, 4-6, (10-5). Stephen Terry secured the last point winning 6-7, 6-1 (10-3). Great job Braves!
