Boys Soccer – Fall of 2024

Bishop Chatard, coached by Mike Carney, won their first Boys Soccer Conference Championship by posting a 3-1 record against Conference competition! Brebeuf Jesuit finished runner-up after defeating the other schools they were tied with in the standings. All Conference players chosen by the member school head coaches include:

Bishop Chatard – Tommy O’Gara, Bryan Rodriguez & Vikas Walling

Brebeuf Jesuit – Colin Frantz & Cole Peterson

Guerin Catholic – Robbie Burt, Gavin Rieck & Cade Tyson

Heritage Christian – Jameson Neill & Ty Ruhl

Roncalli – Jonny Harlow, Cole Huff & Tanner Miller

Post season tournament action found Brebeuf Jesuit losing a heartbreaker in PKs to Carmel, 4-5 in Sectional. Roncalli lost to eventual Sectional Champion Southport in their Sectional opener. Guerin catholic & Heritage Christian both lost tough contests with eventual Sectional Champion Park Tudor. Bishop Chatard won their Sectional and along the way survived Cardinal Ritter in PKs, 4-2.  The Trojans then beat Connersville & Cascade to win their first Regional title! The Trojans traveled to Evansville North in Semi-State to play Evansville Memorial, but lost 0-2 to the eventual State Champion in 2A Boys Soccer.
