Boys Basketball – Winter 2024-25

Guerin Catholic, coached by Bobby Allen, won the Boys Basketball Conference Championship by defeating the other Conference members throughout the season! Brebeuf Jesuit finished runner-up. All Conference players chosen by the member school head coaches include:

Brebeuf Jesuit – Austin Ford & Nick Sobek

Guerin Catholic – Bryson Cardinal, Jake Grissom & Ryne Paris

Heritage Christian – Caleb Flint

Roncalli – Conner Kesler & Joe Taylor 

Post season tournament action found Heritage Christian in their 2A Sectional at Christel House Manual and fell in their opening round contest to the eventual Sectional Champion, Triton Central. Bishop Chatard fell to Cathedral in their opening round 3A Sectional game at Shortridge. Roncalli defeated Shelbyville & Greenwood in their 3A Shelbyville Sectional before losing in the Sectional Final to New Palestine. In the 3A Sectional at Frankfort, Brebeuf Jesuit defeated Crawfordsville & then lost in the Semi-Finals to Guerin Catholic, 59-45. The Golden Eagles beat Lebanon before besting the Braves, and then beat Tri-West to win the Sectional title. The Golden Eagles lost in the Regional Championship to New Palestine to end their season.
