Girls Tennis – Spring 2025

Brebeuf Jesuit, coached by Brent Claymon, won the Girls Tennis Conference Championship by posting a 4-0 record against Conference competition! Bishop Chatard finished runner-up. All Conference players chosen by the member school head coaches include:

Brebeuf Jesuit – Leah Klapper & Chloe Cannon (doubles squad), Kitty Noga, Maureen Tancredi & Chloe Wendowski

Guerin Catholic – Anna & Katie Kolb (doubles squad)

Post season tournament action found Roncalli losing a close Sectional Final to Perry Meridian (1-4). Heritage Christian lost their Sectional Final to Cathedral (2-3). Guerin Catholic lost to perennial State power Carmel (0-5) in their Championship Sectional match. Bishop Chatard defeated North Central (4-1) to win their first Sectional title in 50 years! Brebeuf Jesuit bested Park Tudor (3-2) in their opening Sectional match & then beat Pike (5-0) for the Sectional Title! Bishop Chatard beat Warren Central & Cathedral to win their first Regional title in school history & then bettered Fishers (3-2) to capture Semi-State! The Trojans ran up against a very good Westfield team that ended their season in the State Quarter-Finals. Brebeuf Jesuit beat Fountain Central in the Regional Semi-Final and then outlasted Carmel (3-2) for their Regional Championship! The Braves then cruised through the Semi-State & State Semi-Final levels going into the Team State Championship match! Playing Jasper in the State Championship, the Braves lost a tough match (1-4) to finish State Runners-Up!
