Royals Will Not be Denied Conference & State Titles!
Roncalli, coached by Christina Erazmus, won the Girls Volleyball Conference Championship by sweeping the regular season match-ups with our Conference members. Brebeuf Jesuit finished runner-up. All Conference players chosen by the member school head coaches include:

Roncalli – Lily Jones, Lydia Stahley & Reagan Turk
Post season tournament action found Bishop Chatard (3A) wining matches against Herron & Crispus Attucks befoer losing their Sectional Final to Cathedral. Brebeuf Jesuit & Guerin Catholic (3A) played their Sectional at the historic Frankfort Case Arena. Guerin Catholic lost their opening round match to eventual Sectional Champions Tri-West (1-3). Brebeuf Jesuit beat Frankfort (3-0) & Lebanon (3-2) before losing to a strong Tri-West squad in the Sectional Championship (1-3). Roncalli (3A) played in the Shelbyville Sectional & beat Rushville (3-0) & Indiana Creek (3-0) & then won the Sectional Final against New Palestine (3-1). In Regional at Greenfield-Central the Royals avenged two regular season losses to Cathedral beating the Irish (3-1)! At Semi-State in Jasper the Royals played in a come from behind match to defeat Brownstown Central (3-2) in the early match & then beat Tri-West for the Semi-State Championship (3-0)! Roncalli made it to the State Championship match again, but this time at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Royals played inspired & defeated Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger (3-0) to earn their State Title!! Congrats to the Royals and Coach Christina Erazmus for a GREAT REPEAT PERFORMANCE!
