Guerin Catholic began to see some of the things that they have been working on translate to the game pitch. They were off site for all their games last season (home and away) so this was their first home game on the new field. For that reason alone it was nice to win. They also saw a lot of firsts, notable among them was their goalkeeper’s, Will Obendoerfer, first clean sheet and freshman Joe Lafiosca’s first penalty kick goal. Captain Andrew Garvey put his first goals of the season in and Sophomore Sam Grocki continued scoring as well.
