Brebeuf Jesuit – The Varsity Braves followed in the Freshman teams footsteps and opened conference play against Circle City Member Roncalli Rebels. The Braves proved to much for the Rebels as the score was 10-0 within the first 9 minutes of the game. The Braves didn’t look back from there as every member of the team saw substantial time. The Final score ended up with 10 girls recording points on the night.
The Braves moved to 1-0 in conference, and 4-0 in state. The Braves travel to Cathedral on Thursday for a mid-week Indiana match-up.
Roncalli – The Lady Rebels Varsity Lacrosse team hosted their first ever Circle City Conference Girls Lacrosse game, losing to one of the top programs in Indiana. Brebeuf Jesuit defeated the Lady Rebels 20-0. Goalkeeper duties were handled by Junior Cynthia Allstatt (6 saves). Sophomore Hannah Cushing led the team with 3 ground balls. Senior Maggie Stanley led the team with 2 draw controls.
