Brebeuf Jesuit – The Brebeuf Jesuit Softball Team lost their season opener to Heritage Christian on Tuesday 3/26. The loss moves Brebeuf to 0-1 on the season. Offensively the Eagles struck early using their speed and short-game to put runs on the board. Defensively, Heritage Christian gave up only 1 error. The Braves had 11 good contacts on the ball but a tough Eagles defense kept runs from scoring. Senior Jocelyn Swan pitched all 7 innings and recorded 3 K’s and gave up 0 walks. The Braves made some early mistakes in their season opener but battled all 7 innings.
