Roncalli – The Varsity Baseball Team beat Covenant Christian 10-1 on Wednesday night. Will Schoettle was the winning pitcher, pitching 5 and 2/3 innings allowing just 1 run. The Rebels got a big 2 out 2 RBI single by Cole Beckman to put the Rebels on the board in the bottom of the first, and they would never look back. Brian Keeney was 3-3 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI’s, and 3 runs scored. John Troxell and August Endris both had two hits. The Rebels played errorless baseball defensively. The Rebels are now 10-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play. The team returns to action Saturday at Scecina, game time is 11:00.
