Guerin Catholic – The Golden Eagles battled Heritage Christian on Saturday afternoon and, while they played a tough, physical game, lost 52-33. The team’s defense continued to play tough and show signs of improvement, but once again, the offense wasn’t there. There were bright spots throughout the afternoon, though. Olivia Labus scored a team-high 13 points and Nicole Cunningham scored 10, which puts her only 3 total points away from 600 career points during her Guerin Catholic career. The team is off for Thanksgiving break but will pick things back up with another home game against Shortridge High School.
