Bishop Chatard carried their strong momentum into Saturday’s match against conference foe, Guerin Catholic. The match, which was played at IUPUI before the Indy Eleven match was a tough one, but the Trojans were able to prevail and come out on top. The game was scoreless until eight minutes left in the first half when sophomore Rebekkaha Guess was able to take advantage of a mishandled ball by the Guerin Catholic keeper and put the Trojans up 1-0. BCHS extended its lead in the second half as senior Sarah Jacobson hit a beautifully placed shot in the back of the net off a Sophie Sergie cross. The two goal lead was all the Trojans needed as they were able to knock of 2A No. 17 Guerin Catholic.
